Gregory Ray, D.D.S.
General & Cosmetic Dentistry
Dr. Greg Ray is a distinguished cosmetic dentist whose specialty is transforming smiles with precision and care. Based in Manhattan Beach and serving the greater South Bay area, he previously practiced on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York, where he built a reputation with a discerning clientele. Prior to New York, Dr. Ray ran a successful practice in San Diego, California for over a decade. He earned his dental degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California.
Dr. Ray is licensed to practice dentistry in both New York and California and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He holds certification as a trainer in CEREC same-day dentistry, allowing him to create and place custom ceramic dental restorations in a single visit — eliminating the need for temporary crowns and multiple appointments. He also serves as a new product and technology evaluator for Clinical Research Associates, giving him early access to the latest innovations in dental care.
While apprenticing with the official dentist of the Miss California pageant, Dr. Ray refined his skills as a practitioner known for keeping patients relaxed and treating them like family. Voted one of San Diego's top dentists by San Diego Magazine eight years in a row, and with a decade of exclusively five-star ratings on Yelp, Dr. Ray takes great pride in helping his patients achieve their best dental health. When he is not in the office, he enjoys paddleboarding and snowboarding — but most of all, spending time with his wife, Nicola, and his sons, Greyson and Christopher.

Prior to New York Dr. Ray ran a successful practice in San Diego, California for over a decade. He studied dentistry at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California.

Dr. Ray is licensed to practice dentistry in both New York and California, and is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
